Ok...on the side of those 15K resistors on the CRT board--the side AWAY from the three video out transistors....see what the voltage is to ground. It HAS to be at least 170 or so. if low or "jumping around"...SOMEWHERE...something on the line is OPEN.

I see what looks like a small choke on the line from the chassis..looks like L 501. these like to OPEN and kill the 200 volt supply OHM this...it should shoe under 50 ohms...if HIGH it is OPEN.

Oh, those are chokes? I was wondering what they were! The device next to the single electro cap is marked BC501.

Where should I ground the other meter probe?

To cold ground...likely the CRT ground strap.

As for the choke...measure across it like the resistor. It should NOT show open. The voltage should be pretty much the same on EACH side of it...according to ground.
