1960s Silvertone portable record player found in Goodwill salvage pile

Hello everyone the other day I was at work at Goodwill and spotted and then bought off the salvage pile a mid 1960s Silvertone portable record player that was a mono unit that was still in good shape yet and still works perfectly.
The reason why they put it in the salvage bin was because the needle was broken so they lopped off the original power cord and tossed it in the salvage, so when I got it home I installed a new power cord and fired it up and sure enough the changer mechanism still works flawlessly, I had ordered a new needle for the unit but of course I bought the wrong one by mistake so now I have to order another one tomorrow when I get paid. I have some pictures of the unit in question posted below.

Just realized I posted this in the wrong forum, could someone be so kind as to move this into the phonograph forum?
