question about potentiometers

i've got an old 60s Garnet 'pro vocal' amplifier. Very bizzare circuit, i've never seen anything like it. It has fixed bias on the output tubes. Non adjustable fixed bias. Russian EL34 nice dull red plate.. Ok this must change. Was going to go to active components and buy a pot, but....

What spot in a color tv is most likely to have a 20 -75 k linear pot? I have a bit of a bone yard, and waste not want not. Don't really want to meaure them all though if someone here knows this off the top of their head.

It depends entirely on the model.

Most pots are stamped with their resistance or it is marked on the PCB somewhere, so if you lurk around in the picture adjustment control section you should find something quite quickly.
