Unfortunately the transfer company I was talking with will not be able to digitize my tapes without written permission from the networks that may be on the tapes. From the sound I can ID Walter Cronkite, CBS. But it is possible channels were switched between tapes or even in a single tape.

Chicken and egg problem, how will I be able to ID the networks without having footage to preview?

So I will have to look elsewhere for transfers.

I know the wait has been very long, so here is a Google Drive link that has some minutes of the landing and second EVA tape that I played briefly on a type C machine.

Agree its bullcrap but they want to protect their rearend.

The same with copying your old graduation and wedding photos/videos . Even though the photographer or the photography company are no longer around..
