Cutting back a little. I've got 4, a couple of which actually qualify as vintage, maybe:

- A Panasonic 19" tube set from 1971 that kinda works
- The marvelous 1983-vintage Zenith 19" System 3 with Space Command and Space Phone that I bought new off the showroom floor earlier this year
- a 38" RCA HD set with built-in DirecTV
- My trusty ol' 27" ProScan that I recently got back from a guy who bought it from the guy I originally sold it to a couple years ago.

The late '80s 20" Trinitron and 26" Colortrak console have found other homes.

All I have so far are two RCA 8TS30 clones, the Dewald BT100 and the Air King A1000. These I will be selling soon, less the CRTs, unless I get both sets fully restored.

I also have a genuine RCA 630TS made in 1946, and a Genuine RCA CTC9 "The Felton", made in 1959. I have my trusty 20" Sony Wega as my main TV.

At my high point; circa 1988, I had around 275 sets in my collection. Categorized as 80% early postwar 7, 10, 12, 16, & 19 inch round-tube B&W, 10% early color (15", 19" CBS tube, and 21AXP22 varieties). 10% "other". Now I have fewer than a dozen TV sets, but also other non-TV-related collections PLUS a girlfriend with a horse... That costs more to keep up than a TV collection though... Shoulda kept it as it was .........No, I'm happier now!

The bulk of my collection is still together, divided mainly between two other SoCal collectors.

3 50s early color roundies
2 12" early 70s Sony Trintron
2 9" early 70s Sony Trintron
1 50s GE portable (B/W)
1 Panasonic 70s 9" portable (B/W)
1 USA made Quasar 9" color 80s in white w/ space age Base
1 13" color Zenith from 1979(looks older from early 70s) and was cheap & Zenith!
1 17" 70s Trinitron (was bigger screen and cheap, so got it.)

I used to have more early B/W sets that worked, but no one wanted to watch them in my house since B/W- --pretty much gave them away. The B/W ones I have now just watch the daily news or blogs on them to keep active. I'm done collecting TVs as not allowed anymore...

This is what wifee will do if I bring another TV home-NO MATTER how nice!

My relatives & kids

any more honestly, they would be gathering dust, tight on space too, those roundies take a lot of room.

Funny you mention this... because many of us TV nuts (myself included) are either single or divorced!
