Marconi Camera CRT Cataracts

Some photos showing the CRT cataract problem in a Marconi Mark 8 Color camera studio viewfinder.

Its actually turned into a semi liquid state, and begun oozing out into the casing and electronics..not a good mix!

It smells pungent, like paint stripper!

Be aware of this issue with old cameras! - but do not attempt to remove unless you are trained with handling CRT's, these are under vacuum and can be dangerous.
