Simpson 260 2
I recently purchased a Simpson 260 Series 2 and the face is much different than the normal. What’s different is the red lettering and the left and right control dials. I thought the dials. I have seen a YouTube video where I have seen this exact model but yet to receive a response. I have attached a link hopefully to find out more about this version. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Simpson-260...-127632-2357-0

It's just an older version. What's the question?

Early models:
Simpson 260 first model: https://www.simpson260.com/260-1/simpson_260-1a.htm Simpson 260 type 2: https://www.simpson260.com/260-2/simpson_260-2.htm Simpson 260 type 2A: https://www.simpson260.com/260-2/simpson_260-2a.htm Simpson 260 type 3: https://www.simpson260.com/260-3/simpson_260-3.htm AC scales look ok for a type 2, but the chicken head knobs don't... I believe they should be round. On the other hand, look at this thread: http://www.videokarma.org/showthread.php?t=268248 jr Last edited by jr_tech; 02-14-2022 at 02:28 AM. Welcome to VK !
Simpson 260's & RCA volt ohmist were the go to meters in the day. Still useful but you gotta watch it. You WILL fry it if you measure higher voltages on ohms by accident. I know, I smoked a few myself ! 73 Zeno LFOD ! |
