Hello all! I just joined tonight after a search revealed that there was already a little discussion about a television I offered at auction back in 2009. The same deForest-Sanabria set is currently available, but a sale is unlikely due to the large size (no matter its rarity). It seems the best alternative is to simply restore it, but I will need local electronic help and almost certainly another 27-inch tube.
I also have an assortment of radios as well as a beloved Rock-Ola Super Rocket that are getting attention in small increments. Hopefully there will be some advice and resources here. Regards, Gene |

If it is a TV and the CRT tube is still under vacuum then there is a high likely hood that THE CRT is still good. If there is a TV service shop near by that has a CRT tester for older tubes they could probably test it for you.
