Buffalo NY area to ETF
I won this Sylvania: http://www.ebay.com/itm/302271461323
It has that screwball chassis with the 6Y6 driving an RF type HV supply; I've regretted letting a 10 inch tabletop version of this set slip away... Anyone near Buffalo (Tonawanda, NY actually) that could pick this set up and bring it to the convention in Hilliard for me? |

Oh come on now, I wonder who lives there?
I know the guy you bought it from. Tell Allen to give me a ring....I think he's been meaning to get over here anyway. Transport to ETF is no problem

Well I didn't want to come right out and ask you, seemed kinda presumptuous, but if you're willing to transport it, you have my thanks and gratitude. I sent him a message via eBay asking him to get in touch with you.
Thank you Tim! |

Why are there so many television collectors in Buffalo?

I think every metropolitan area has a number of collectors, some are just more "visible" than others.
I have dealt with at least 7 collectors in the Metro-Detroit area personally, and I suspect there are many, many more. |

There are only 4 hardcore tv guys here.....the guy who sold that set on eBay is a radio guy mostly.
