I used to "snoop" at some of the discount stores in our area to look at the off brand sets.... ( at the time, I worked for my Uncle, the Zenith dealer)
There were two stores fairly close to our town, "Pamida" and "Alco". Those stores carried the ODDEST off brand sets, and I remember TMK being at Alco. Pamida was always big on "Midland" ( which had HORRID pictures on the showroom floor)
