Free tv's in ann arbor mich.
i post 3 adds on craiglist all the time, wanted old tv's. i had a lady call me asking me if i was interested in 5 console b&w tv's, they where re-opening a motel and they have been there ever since, [ she says ] and that i could have them if i wanted to make the trip .if there are any member's near ann arbor interested you can call her 1-734-769-5314 she really didnt know alot about them ,she described them as being small console's and from the 60's she said ,if you live near there and can check them out there free , you never know what she really might have its worth a look ,ill try to get some pic's from her .she sounds like she needs to get rid of them to open this motel .

does anyone know if there was a model of emerson that fits that discription that was possibley marketed to motels in the 50's - 60's she insist they are b&w she keeps mentioning the short legs on them if that helps, i ask where are the knobs on it ,and she says on the frt not the side.

Here's the 1956 and 1958 Emerson catalogs on the tvhistory.tv website:

Wouldn't that be something if it were five 50s Emerson roundies? It's intriguing whatever they are.

well with 5 sets you should be able to atleast make one to two wowrking sets assuming they are all the same but they might all be complete...

im thinking about a road trip if there are no members near ann arbor, but also ill be *&*@#off if someone else goes and there like all color set's from the 50's, and she's just dont know what she's looking at. that would be my luck ,but on the other hand i can't see a motel buying 5 color sets in the late 50's they where not cheap .
