pioneer sx3800, radio issues

ok so recently aquired a pioneer sx3800 reciever, everything works absolutly perfect.... and here it is .... except..... nothing coming from the radio, no fuzz no pops no "stereo" light blinking... nothing. any ideas on where to start? all capacitors on board look fine(none swollen) everything is free of dust and debree.

This is probably a better topic for the audiokarma discussion forums, but here goes:

Look in the power supply. You're probably missing the 12v for the tuner. Probably an open 2SD313 series pass regulator (most common regulator transistor used in pioneer receivers) or broken solder connections on the same transistor.

Grab a schematic and troubleshoot.
