More from Invictus ( Brazil )

First TV set factory in Brazil, and, for many years, the top seller brand. The photo shows a 1952 TV/radio combo model, I have one set exactly like that one on my collection. The newspaper ad is from May 1959 promoting very early their 1960 line.

Did they sell test equipment too? Can't read the captions at the bottom of the ad.

According to the ad, yes. I've never seen one of their test equipments, would be nice to find one.

Here are pictures of the inside and outside of one I have from 1957:

http://www.videokarma.org/showthread.php?t=267612

They made TVs for exactly 20 years. From 1952 to 1972.

In their last year they made 100 color TVs ( 1972 was the first year of color television in Brazil ). Those color sets are rarer than hen's teeth.
