Need help to identify this old turntable from a console

Hi there... I'm new to VK but have been a member of AK for several years.

I have a turntable that I need help identifying.

Check out the pics and let me know the make and model... if you can.

Thanks!!

Is mine the very same thing that is pictured?

Or are you saying that I have a VM (voice of music???) record changer?

Thanks!

Don't really know - not a turntable expert, but I'd guess VM - 950 - 18 - 1950 means model 950, built the 18th week of 1950; and the long number ending in 18 would be the serial number.

Looks like Wells Gardner subcontracted V-M to manufacture the turntable.
