CTC-16 Combo on LA Craigslist!
OH NO! Not another "you can pull out the old tv and convert it with a new one". Someone save this one! No cataracts! Could be a replaced tube?
This set looks just like my CTC-16 I had a while back that I sold to Chrisw6atv. This one's extremely clean and has the orig factory hang tags too! Turntable and radio look clean too! http://losangeles.craigslist.org/ant/fuo/849361047.html

Gawd! I'd make room for that one, I'd just get rid of my problematic Maggie combo from '65. I wish more 60's RCAs would show up around here. But, on the other hand, the 50's ones DO show up so I shouldn't complain.

That does look nice.... But the problem is room! I'll think it over, and maybe send the seller a note not to throw it out, and that I'll rescue it if needed. Lancaster is out in the desert about 90 minutes from me (and about $80 in Diesel). At least it doesn't seem to have a cataract, so the tube is worth having if it's any good. And I think that's a CTC-12 or 15!!!!!! Look at the channel knobs, and the separate UHF knob. They did make an early 16 with that configuration, but most were 12s & 15s.
