Philips DVD player part needed

HI ALL!

Just picked up Philips DVP 3360 DVD player - totally dead. On the PSU there is a 7 pin IC which I think is some type of power regulator (TNY177PN) it's obviously blown and the very small mains fuse is blown too. Does anyone know of an equivalent part I could use in the supply?

Thanks in advance!

I won't vouch for this but it appears to be a control IC for a PWM power supply. If it's blown there may be a power MOSFET that is also toast. And maybe a flyback diode as well.

These power supplies aren't trivial to repair. I'd suggest, if practical, remove the power supply and substitute another. If it's only got one output voltage that would be easy enough.

By the look of it, the PSU has MORE than one output (block connector). Think I'll have to write this one off!
