Zenith radio 1946 Model# 12H090
Hi people, I have a Zenith Radio Zenith 12H090 AM/SW/FM45/FM100 radio/phono and am totally ZERO in terms of radios, i.e. I dont even know whether it works or how to check
I'm moving in a month, and want to sell this massive console because we haven't really used it much, and it's been reduced to a mantelpiece. I want someone that realizes its true worth to have it, but would also like to know how much it would be worth as of April 2005. Any thoughts? Here's some pictures: http://www.geocities.com/americanllm...th12h090-1.jpg http://www.geocities.com/americanllm...th12h090-2.jpg http://www.geocities.com/americanllm...th12h090-3.jpg http://www.geocities.com/americanllm...th12h090-4.jpg http://www.geocities.com/americanllm...th12h090-5.jpg |

It is probably worth $30-75 but only to someone who is really interested in radios...many people don't like the huge consoles because they are harder to fit into their home decor. Yours also has a replacement turntable, originally it was a 78-only.
This is a good performing set, it has the 45 mhz fm band to pick up baby monitors, etc. I bought one at an auction for $6.00 years ago. It had an electrolytic short, so if you haven't ever worked it I would not recommend plugging in. Without checking for problems, you may damage components if there is a short circuit like in a capacitor or wiring. |
