Anyone in Chicago? CTC11 needs some help.
A buddy of mine recently bought a pretty nice blonde CTC11 and is looking for someone to recap and give it a tuneup. It was powered on and producing a bright snowy raster when he bought it.
I'm too far away to be able to help, and already reached out to our two main Chicago guys but no time/availability. Anyone? |

If he's willing to drive it to Milwaukee and be patient (it could take me over a month) I could probably help.
At this point I have worked on every RCA color roundy chassis except the CTC-7, 11, and 12.

Tom I tried to send you a PM but your inbox is full. Also sent a mail via the site, not sure if it arrived or not.

Is it a CTC-11 blonde cabinet "The Wakely" model like this one? Dave MM here restored ours, for which we're very grateful, it's a sweetheart, so he knows something about them.

It did. I've been sick with COVID and lost track. I'll try and give him a call later. I don't have/want any of the apps mentioned (my only social media ignoring my YouTube channel is Facebook) so it'll be a plain phone call.
