Here's another. Almost looks XL-100 ish with the knobs, but the control door is too wide and the rest of the knob layout doesn't seem right. Thoughts?

Its a Magnavox it could be a tube set but looks like a solid state. There first solid states were good worth getting if you got room.

This one's definitely getting saved. Told a local TV buddy about it, and he's borrowing my van to pick it up. If it was an XL-100 I'd grab it, but he thought Magnavox as well, and I have to stay within my wheelhouse

The clock radio is a Panasonic. I've got one with a different dial.

Sony Wega atop an early Maggy SS set I believe. Get the
Maggy & leave the Sony for the gamers. Probably not the
common T991 or T809 style chassis but earlier. Lots of little
modules on a vert chassis & normal power supply. Resolder
the mother board & all the modules at the connectors will
fix the 10-20 intermittents. Dont remember anyone finding
one here in 2 yrs so worth saving ! Bet there is only one for
every 50 XL100's or 100 Zenith flats.

An Admiral for sure. The color ring logo a dead givaway.
Not my cup of tea. IF I found a SS console even I would
take that home ! I have no more excuse. I just bought my
squaw a new Caravan & could easily put 4 in it.......

Looks like a 1969-70 model considering the controls. Could be an H12 as well or maybe a K-?? hybrid. I've heard of slightly older Admirals with the 25SP22.

As far back as 1967 they were using 25APs and 25SPs.

Crazy as it sounds I'd like to own a set with a 23EGP...As long as it is not a dud and as long as it does not have an RCA style cataract. They are just so rare and interesting as a turning point for the industry/minor engineering blunder that I'd like to preserve one.

Turns out it was an Emerson. Looked to be in the wrapper new.

Buddy of mine was there within the first hour of the sale to buy it, and he missed the set by 10 minutes. Price was $20. He still tried to get the set, but to no avail.

It's going to be gutted for a dog bed.
