Hitachi Transistor TV Receiver I-48 Power Cord
I picked up one of these TVs recently and can't find out much information about it. It came without its power cord, so I am looking for one of those or a schematic to show which pins carry the AC voltage. There are six pins in the power cord port.
Anyone have a power cord available for one of these or a lead on where I could find one? Also, any links to a manual or schematic would be appreciated. I have attached a photo of the set and the power cord port. Thanks! |

Looks like Sam's covers it. https://www.samswebsite.com/en/photo...earch&s=Search
I don't know for sure but often the 120V pins are the 2 farthest spaced ones...The higher the voltage the more insulation/spacing between conductors.

There is often a jumper too.

Thanks. Seeing this was a paid download lead me to do some more Googling. I was able to find a free version at this link..
https://www.audioservicemanuals.com/...service-manual I was able to see which pins needed to be hooked up to AC and was able to power the set on. |

Yep. There was a jumper. Two pins to AC and two pins jumped together.

The power cord setup on this TV is very similar to the one on the 9" Zenith System 3 TVs from the late 1980s.
