Greetings from Ontario, Canada

Hello everyone,

Thanks for accepting my registration.

My primary hobby is the design & experimentation of vacuum tube audio gear. But, as a teenager in the early 70's I had a small business repairing electronics; mostly amplifiers and black & white TV's.
The TV side of it came to a screeching halt when I inadvertently cracked the neck of a picture tube while moving the set.
I had to buy the owner a new CRT and swore I'd never repair another TV!

Well, 50 odd years later I have a dozen and a half restored antique radios and I've finally calmed down enough to have a go at a vintage TV. My first restoration will be a 1948 Admiral 19A11 set.

Needless to say I will be VERY careful handling the CRT!

I look forward to interacting on the forums.

John
