HMV F5-A6 "Ascot" TV. looking for a CRT and speaker..
I now am the proud owner of a HMV F5-A6, the "Ascot" From '57 to '59. it is right behind my pedalboard. i need a new CRT and speaker, and it is missing the power cable as well. mine was made on the 11th of July in '57

Any speaker the same size and impedance will work.
As for the CRT you need a CRT type number. Did it test totally dead? If it is weak you may still be able to coax a good picture from it albeit maybe you'll need a brightener.

The socket is damaged, the thing where the pins go in is totally necked. So I need a new CRT

Correct CRT
The correct picture tube for that model is the European type tube AW53-80. This would have been made by Philips at their plant in South Australia. I think it is unlikely that you'll be able to find a replacement unfortunately.

I'd look for a compatible American type and try to import one if I were you. 21" monochrome American consoles are nearly the bottom of the collector desirability scale here and still dirt common.
