Adjustment of screen, backround, green, blue drive
Want is proper way to balance blue and green drive and set RGB back round and screen (back of fly) levels. so everything is not to high or low. There are no service switches and sometimes the color control won't kill color completely. Working on 80's Sony.
Thank you, Perry. |

1) First mark all control positions so you can go back.
2) Find the Sony or Sams manual. If you cant find it look for a similar age Sony & use that. 3) Screen AKA G-2 is adjusted by turning it up till you see thin white lines. Then turn it down till they go away. Then turn the contrast, color & brite down & be sure there are no thin white lines. 4) Cant turn down color usually from the auto color is on, dirty autocolor switch or color control. BTW Always post the model number ( KV#### ) and chassis number ( SCC###) when asking questions . |
