Cool! I've never heard of a slow scan mechanical TV system before. Is this anything like the early fax systems of the 20's?

Looking at my 73 magazines there have been 2 think both using paper//i have them posted at the nbtv forum in my mechanical sstv project posts.

It is sort of like fax infact one of the 70's mechanical systems could do weather satellites noaa and sstv ...just the speed and electronics really .

But no there has never been a mechanical system or fax using glow paint uv light on a rotating drum .

I am at the moment just redoing the PWM for the laser as the first board is getting messy and i have to invert the video ...

In the 20's and before it was either eht doing the modulating or a type of pen on the earlier ones.

Thanks for the post want to know any more let me know .the project history is on the nbtv forum just look for me harry dalek
