RCA projector: smell-a-vision

Hey guys. I got this thing last Summer but it went into storage (read that, I piled junk on it) before I took a photo. As I understand it it was never sold, and was just used to stack stuff on for years at the original store, hence the original (I think!) shipping skid. It then went into a guy's garage where his cats lived (translate THAT into peed in) for years. The result, smell-a-vision! This one is gonna take a lot of work!

if it wasnt used the crt should be good!
clorox in a spray bottle should kill the piss smell in the interier wood but do it outside as the fumes may be nasty.
thats how i deodorised a motorola 7" mouse motel table set.

I used pet stain remover/deorderizer, which just about got it. The problem now is the rust. The front (vertical) chassis is like new down to the bottom few inches, then it and everything else is really coroded. I guess I am looking at a strip, sandblast, and tin plate job to do it right. It is good I have a friend in the platin' biz!
I am hoping you are right about the crt. If for no other reason than I could use it in one of the other two projectors I have that use the same CRT, which are in WAY better shape. Of course it would be nice to get all three running, but we will see.

Question RCA Smell-o-vision.

If you give up on the set, and if the part is in good shape, I would be willing to purchase, or trade for original speaker. I have an RCA '46 model combination that uses same amplifier, and speaker, and speaker is destroyed beyond hope. I purchassed a replacement from a collector last year, and it played for 1 second. Voice coil openned up.

Shellac does a GREAT job of sealing in odors that can't be completely removed from wood.
