Talking My new car (56K warning)

I just discovered this new forum! Like another member, I would like to post some pictures of my first car which I bought this summer from working.
Sorry about the BBCode photos, but I couldn't get the forum to embed them for some reason?
Its a 1978 Datsun 280z With a chevey SBC 355 that started out its live in a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro.

That thing must haul ass

The photos come up oddly because you tried to embed links from a slide show. You need to embed them as .jpg files or just upload them to VK.....

It sure does although its not too great on the highway here in Texas since it has a TH-350 three speed in it. Its wound up pretty tight at 65. I'm not very far from SH130 where the speed limit is 85 mph, but I have yet to take it over there yet since it still has old tires on it and I haven't gotten to do much work on it... I do wonder how it will do cursing at 85 mph for the 120 mile stretch of road I just don't think that will work out very well with that three speed...

The old hot rodder's saw is SO true-"If enuff Cubic Inches are Good, Too Much are even BETTER..." The 280 was a NICE car, but emissions crapola, & increasing weight, & all the "Goodies" they tended to get loaded down with, meant their Tongues were Hangin' Out a lot of the time..

Amazing car Joseph. Up here they turned to rust dust after about 5 years in the salt. Very nice.
