Radio Shack Portavision
Here is a set that was given to me in 1996, A Radio Shack "ghetto blaster" with 4 1/2" B&W TV. It's got AM/FM, cassette, and the TV.
I haven't had this out of the box in YEARS, and was bored and playing around in the basement, so decided to power it up (with a DTV box) Man... I used the hell out of this back in the day. I worked swing shift and watched TV at my desk.... |

Reminds me of the GE version from about 10 years earlier. AM/FM, 4" color and removeable microcassette recorder with a wall-wart the size of a canned ham.

I have BOTH those sets.....love 'em both!
I had to change a couple belts in the little Portavision...but the GE has never been touched. Still records and plays the microcassettes! That little GE set has a REALLY good color picture. Much better looking than my JVC CX-500 and it's 5" color screen.

Thrift store near her has one similar to that but branded Emerson.
