ctc-4 with 21axp22 (not the A version)

my ctc-4 with 21axp22 (not a) finally finished.. except cabinet
great deep reds.. like the ct-100..
also if anyone has a blonde version of this set.. why is the control panel door much lighter than the cabinet? or is it that the cabinenet got darker with age?,it does not look the the panel door got lighter with age.. unless this is how they all are..
thnks

Terry,
Your CTC-4 "Director" model came in two finishes: mahogany and blonde. Your picture is a little dark so it's hard to tell which it is. If it's mahogany, perhaps the panel door from a blonde model was used as a replacement. It could be the blonde finish badly faded. Or, perhaps the cabinet was refinished at one time. Other CTC-4 models came in birch and walnut. The door might be from one of these models. That set produces a nice bright image.
