Newcomb EDT-20 Schematic
Hello All,
I have a Newcomb EDT-20 record player that a previous "repair person" had a crack at... A number of capacitor and circuit board leads have been clipped for reasons unknown, and naturally the included schematic (which was pasted inside of the cabinet in such a way to assure maximum damage during chassis removal) was scraped clean in the pertinent spot (i.e. where all of the observable clipping was done). Would anybody out there happen to have the schematic for this unit? Thanks in advance! |

Ouch! Newcomb jealously kept most schematics on rp'rs, and, radios private.
Even my trnascription players schematics don't identify some parts any better than X1, M2, P13, etc... I only can reccommend getting another of the same model machine. Bill Cahill

My word, that's disappointing to learn.
I was hoping that it wouldn't be so; from what I've been able to glean, this model was ubiquitous in classrooms at one time. The truly sad thing is that the schematic is pasted inside the cabinet, but mine has sustained damage...if anybody out there has an example and would be willing to take a picture of the schematic, I would be very much obliged. |
