Anyone with a manual schematic for this?
Or know what other kit company had a unit like it?
Maybe recogncize the transformer?

That's one I have never seen or heard of before. Circuitwise it's probably a lot like a Heathkit, Conar or an Eico. Provided it was assembled right, there's not much to go wrong except a few bad caps or tubes.

What tubes does it have, a 6H6 and a 5Y3?


In the 17 years I've had my Heathkit I haven't serviced it since just after I got it, except for changing the battery.

meter also has mcb on it.
sometimes part numbers help give it away..
i thought maybe someone would recognize the part number on the transformer.
not a heathkit number.
I realize the part number could be the transformer manufacturer art number,
I don't recognize the part number.
I think the company went out in 1959 .
i did go thru old knight kit schematics on line but nothing close.
ill search for conar.
Im just curious who made it.
the manual would make it easier on the st up of the calibrations pot on the back.

Likely another kit that was built with a lot of war surplus components. It shouldn't be too hard to dial everything in without a schematic but they are nice to have. All you need it some resistors and a good DMM that you can know they're exact values. Same with voltages.

It doesn't look like it needs a switchable probe with it with a 1 meg resistor as it has a seperate jack for DC.

I did remove the radio shack d battery with 82-07
Which I assume is 1982 7th week.
Battery was soldered in. It did have a clip to hold it .
I bought this with weston and another meter.
So someone used it in the 80s

I thought that looked like an old Radio Shack battery. I haven't seen one of those red tops in ages.
