Shipping Radios
I’ve had a fair amount of luck shipping smaller Bakelite radios, however I have numerous wooden radios that I’d like to ship. Most of these are either a cathedral or tombstone, but a few are also the smaller tabletop style. What’s the safest way to ship these without dissassembling the whole Radio? I’m worried that a impact on the top of the radio (particularly cathedrals) would break the top of the radio.
Thanks, Zach

idk, but I feel like a real wood cabinet would be much stronger than bakelite. Just bubble wrap the hell out of it. Should be fine.

Pack the inside of the radio with bubble wrap, etc, being careful not to damage the speaker cone. Box it up tight with at least a couple inches of packing material all around, then box that box up tight with another bit of material all around.
