Dynex 40L261

This latest RSF (roadside find) is a Dynex 40 inch CCFL from 2011. It has composite, component, vga, and HDMI inputs but no USB or S-video.
I didn't expect much out of this but it was a CCFL.
It was filthy, very dusty inside and had something splattered on the screen. After cleaning it up and switching the menu screen to English, I discovered it was set up for K-call stations. Re-scanning, it picked up 96 stations.
I couldn't get the HDMI to work. This might be HDMI 1.4 and my generator is HDMI 2.0. Not sure if there is an incompatibility problem here.
Does anybody know anything about this? Thanks.
