Building a solid state RCA 1846 Iconoscope camera

G'day all.

At the beginning of this year I have decided to embark on an ambitious project which is to build a solid state Iconoscope camera using an early 1940s RCA 1846 Iconoscope tube http://troysvintagevideo.0catch.com/1846iconoscope.html I bought off Ebay and modern electronics to drive it.

So far I have been gathered up a lot of data and have began construction on the camera which I've chosen an old IBM 486 computer tower case as the enclosure and have added the Iconoscope tube mounting and a rudimentary homemade rackable lens system using 2 magnifying glasses as the lens. I have made documentation of my progress with the camera with info, pictures and video logs and have made a section on my site illustrating my project which can be seen in two pages:
http://troysvintagevideo.0catch.com/...peproject.html
http://troysvintagevideo.0catch.com/...eproject2.html

My next steps planned is to get the power supply, head amp and deflection yoke constructed as I have a decent amount of info on them though there's still missing pieces. The head amp I can use a plumbicon colour camera head amp circuit which is what Paul and I think Yoshio did as a choice of head amp for their cameras.

I have been in touch via email with Sony senior project engineer Yoshio Ozaki who successfully built a solid state RCA 1846 Iconoscope camera http://youtu.be/Bs5l39WsnKo and also Paul Marshall of Golden Age Television who successfully built a solid state PYE photicon (midget image Iconoscope) camera http://www.golden-agetv.co.uk/equipment.php?ExhbtID=143 . Yoshio has provided me some great memo notes for the yoke construction and power supply schematic which are most helpful though he no longer has the original schematics. Tech details on Paul's photicon camera can be seen in CQ-TV issues 181 and 184 downloadable via this link http://www.batc.org.uk/cq-tv/archive/1998.html .

So I have a lot of info handy to get me going though there's still a lot of missing pieces of info needed which is mentioned on my site. So I am seeking tech assistance from anyone who is enthusiastic to help me and wants to see another Iconoscope camera going especially with circuit design as my knowledge in that area is very limited. Anyways anyone who is willing to assist me, I can be contacted at ac_dc_rocks@hotmail.com or just PM my profile here or even just reply to this thread, any info will be much appreciated.
