Who added the Indianhead pattern? That wasn't on the original. Apparently the TV wasn't turned on when the original photo was taken. The other image of this on the web looks like a picture of Vince Lombardi overlaid on a turned off set.
Do any of the photo tags help identify it? img1942392_4-2_Televizor_1950-h_godov historiatvssamsung p-sp-espacoprotv_r https://www.mtitecnologia.com.br/tel...s-da-historia/ . |

Best way to answer your question is to watch this video.
https://archive.org/details/OutdoorWarningSystem.HD I can't find the link so I put it in my library. If you want, click on "show all" and download the mov. file... Last edited by Hawkwind; 07-29-2018 at 12:30 PM. Reason: Stoned? |

Don't mean to hijack this thread, but since the topic is "prop TV", I happened to watch a show featruring Alex Trebek and his career the other night. Noticed this mod looking TV and speakers. Show was from Canada in 1963 so no doubt it was Canadian-made.
Was this a real TV or a stage prop? He's interviewing Gordon Lightfoot btw... |

Pretty cool, didn't realize either of them had been in the business that long!
