1981 13" Magnavox 13C108?
I picked up this set as a freebee, at the Illinois Antique Radio Club, swapmeet a few months ago. The set is a very low hours, super clean set that has a great picture.
The only issue with it, is when playing a video tape, it flagwaves like mad! A set built that late should play a video tape with no problem. I wonder if there's information around about changing the horizontal AFC time-constant. I appears that the set is all original and never needed repairing. |

Yes that should run fine on a VCR. Look for small lytics
in hoz AFC & osc. Also check the power supply. About this time they had a few european chassii in 13". Only ever had PS problems for dead set.... 73 Zeno LFOD ! |

It must've been built when Philips just took over. I tried it using a DVD and it works fine. I'll put it aside for now, as I have too many projects going. Last edited by Electronic M; 10-04-2016 at 10:27 AM. Reason: fix quote |
