My new French Provincial Electrohomes
I recently picked up 2 new Electrohomes (both French Provincial, my favourite cabinet style - seriously!)
The one on the left is the Versailles from 1970 and has tubes (hybrid). The chassis is the C09. It has the slide channel selector that Electrohome only used for a year or two. Unfortunately it is jammed on channel 10. Tubes glow, but there is no picture or sound. The one on the right is from 1985 and works well. It did not come with its remote. It has the Electrohome "Blue Optic" CRT. |

Neat sets. Be sure to replace those 2 down to air tubes in the second to right picture.

We saw some Electrohomes down here. Very well built set.
Never seen the slider thats cool. The newer one is almost definately an MGA built set. They started using them in late 70's IIRC. BTW many Advent Video Beams used an Electrohome chassis. 73 Zeno |
