Cute little Air King radio/phono
This 1947 Air King A-403 "Court Jester" radio/phono survived in very good condition. The typical large models are awkwardly large and boxy, but this one is very small and light as a feather. The little 4-tube chassis has a nice tone both with the phono and the radio. I like the oval grill with the 3-bars. A fun little set to enjoy my 78RPM record collection with. The modern cartridge replacement will be kind to them. The arm has a tension bar and is rather light.
