1981 Zenith Color Space Command

I picked up this 1981 Zenith Space Comnand color set and it works great. It still uses the mechanical tuner. It's model is M1321W and is made in 1981. Does anyone know which remote this takes and has a picture of what it looks like? It's also a System 3 set.

Get in touch with Doug Harland (DRH4683). He had one of these sets and he can probably help you out.

This one may not be 100% correct (I've seen them without the logo), but it will work.

Thanks guys. I think you're right about that being the remote I need. I saw one on a YouTube video looking like my set and that's what someone had.

Any battery ultrasonic Zenith remote should work.
The one Jon shows is probably the one that
came with it. They sold one model above that that had
full RAT & auto on/off. That uses one with a full keyboard
& other buttons. Doug may have the remote cross book.
If you can get the 124-### part number it will help.
The number is in the battery box.

Dang... I'm getting old. I sold System 3's in that era, and I don't remember a mechanical tuner as late as 81 (on remote sets). That ones gotta be one of the last of the lines that did.
