CBS's New Holiday Greetings inspired by 1966 R.O. Blechman's classic bumpers
I was recently watching CBS and noticed they have new animations that were inspired by R.O. Blechman's spots that were made in 1966 and were aired well into the 1970's/ I remember those bumpers when I was a kid. It seem there us someone at CBS who got the same idea and wanted to do something similar and updated to take us back to hose times. Here is a link to an article and to the new animations I've found:

The two Blechman ones I remember the most is the one with the singing birds and the lumberjack guy playing "Come All He Faithful" on his saw that sounded like a viola and the other one where a poor little girl sits on Santa's lap in a department store and wishes for a warm coat and Santa give her his coat and she walks away very proud. I don't know if Blechman was involved with this one or not but I also remember a CBS bumper with a little elf in a lamp too.
