New to VK from snowy Ashland, VA
While I am new to VK, I am not new to radios, receivers, victrolas, televisions, and tube audio. I have been looking for a while for a website to share and learn without all of the partisan bickering. VK is it!
I have been collecting and restoring radios, etc. for many years...beginning as a young kid in Western Pennsylvania, though ECM and Crypto in the Navy, to current interests in tube audio. I have everything from an EH Scott Philharmonic, to early Grebe and Kennedy’s, to SX-28, SP-600, HQ-180, SX-23, to Knight Ocean Hopper and Graymark 511, to Dynaco ST-70, and Scott LK-72B…with many others in-between. I am also a member of AK. I am always interested in learning more, and I hope to do so here. BR, Terry |

So much to learn here at Videokarma!
WOW this is a very awesome site here at Videokarma
I think a found a lost world of wisdom here. This is almost as good as the good old days when we made console televisions here in the good old USA. The console below is one that I helped design back in the 1980s' at Curtis Mathes! I really miss the days when we made cool stuff over here! Last edited by Glenn Waters; 02-16-2010 at 08:00 PM. |

Blackshoe or Airdale? I've had the rounds with the KIT/KIR/KY crowd as an AT. Welcome to the scan/sweep side of karma!
Cheers,

Black Shoe...or as we used to call it - "the real Navy".
