Archive Evening News DVD

I don't know if this is the right place to post this but...

I am looking for vintage evening news broadcasts or special reports that have been transferred to DVD. Anyone come across anything like this? There are plenty of snippets on youtube but I want a DVD so I can demonstrate on some of my 60's sets how they would have shown original material when they were new.

This is all I could find but it only has a little 60's.

Looking for Walter Cronkite, CBS special reports, Dan Rather, etc.

You can always download them from YouTube and burn them to DVD yourself.

I guess so, some of the quality there is questionable though and I need to see if I have a dvd burning program but good suggestion.

I was going to recommend the various Paley centers, but Wiki says that don't let any show content out on the web. You have to watch it in-house. (That doesn't hold true for things like cast interviews for various shows, though.)

Maybe the networks have samplers, either via their websites or on their affiliated web portals, like Hulu.

Well thanks for the suggestion. Too bad places like archive.org don't have something because through them I downloaded a treasure trove of old time radio, Dragnet, The Whistler, etc.
