Congratulations, it is great to see one running! Do you have another CRT to try? The trapezoid geometry could also be caused by poor power supply filtering, allowing the horizontal sweep to affect the height.

Is this a rare bezel that does not have a crack above the CRT!

Yes the bezel is rare, NO CRACKS, and yes I have another crt but I'll live with it its small and nothing changes with the horz hold if I move the pot. But then again if the tv was dropped that would be enough to shift a plate, who knows it works great and besides I just have to adjust the screen to close the top and bottom then it's gone, lol. To try another crt these sets are rough to take apart and get back together the same as it was with the right screws in the right places which is important with this little set.
