old RCA (tube) video modulator

I just picked this up and it actually works as found. Even though it says ch 3 & 4, it's adjustable and will go from ch 2 - 5. It doesn't go up to 6, I didn't try 1. As a transmitter it doesn't go nearly as far as the B&T modulators we've all been using (not really beyond a few feet). It's video only though, so it's not actually very useful for watching tv. Anyone have any information on these?

This is a wireless tube modulator? Wow... haven't seen one of those! Pretty nifty find there!

It is tube, but it's not wireless. Because these newer B-T modulators I have (not meant to be wireless either) will transmit throughout the whole house if I hook the output to a pair of rabbit ears, I thought this might do the same.
