RCA New Vista 8"
Has anyone seen one of these things before? I picked up this little solid state RCA New Vista black and white with an 8" screen recently, because I had never run into one with the RCA brand before. It does not say where it was manufactured, but I find it hard to believe that it is American, since it looks to be from the 70's. It is AC power only, with the pop up controls like you would normally find on a Panasonic.

Your little RCA is from 1966,1967 time frame and was made in the States. Chassis number KCS157, Sams number 907-2. Have two in my collection, black and gray no white or wood grain yet. All the best,Tom.J

Yes... I have one of those. I believe that's the 2nd SS for RCA, there's one model that's a tad older.
Mine works, but it like's to pop its breaker once in awhile, also the tube in mine is tired. It's a slow warmer, but once on a bit looks pretty good. |
