I spent 15 of my first 17 years watching the Thanksgiving day parade on a CTC11. Great memories.

How are you watching that program on a TV which is set up for the television system that existed before DTV? I do not see a cable box anywhere near your television, and I cannot otherwise imagine how you are getting anything over the air on a set that old, especially with rabbit ears.

I have a combo DTV converter / file reader (outside the picture). The base image was copied off the internet and I added the lettering in Photoshop, then copied the file to a USB stick to feed the converter.

EDIT:
CAUTION: In case you are thinking of buying one: The unit supplies 12 V power on the antenna input. You are supposed to be able to turn it off in the menu system, but it would reset itself to ON. I had to install a DC-blocking connector in the antenna feed.
The unit includes an RF modulator. You do not need a separate one.

YES, I have seen EVERY episode of Dr Who there is to see.

I have met.

Live CTC-16LX version.

STILL can't get a good pic with the cell cam. AND the cable box is doing letterbox format by default, but this was a live shot.

I can't see Yamamaya42's replies. That is, I can see the text of his replies, but when I click on the link to imgur.com I get nothing. I do see images, etc. on all other posts which have links to image sites. Is there some problem with imgur.com which is blocking me from seeing these images?

Thanks much.

Not quite Thanksgiving images but earlier this week I did run both of my CTC5s at once...The occasion was me installing a weak (like needs a brightnener to have red weak) 21AXP22 into the red one and installing the 21FBP I had retrofitted into it a few years ago into a Packard Bell combo....Thus confirming my retrofit was %100 reversible.
Pictures are before switching back to the ADP, after, the glass conversion kit I pieced together, and the packard bell showing that their CRT mounting hardware makes its own test jig and how good the glass CRT out of the 5 was (aside from a pea sized dead spot near the edge of the screen).
