Taylor 31A Oscilloscope

I was down at the local auctions tonight dropping off some LCDs when I saw this old scope in the "antiques" sale.

I don't exactly need another old scope to repair, but for $5 I couldn't leave it there.

I've never heard of Taylor before. It appears to be an English brand. There are some Australian made components under the chassis, but they're probably from various past repairs.

It does use several Osram Z309 tubes, which I've never seen before.
