Another oddball Sony color set I'd never seen!
I was down in Los Angeles to check out my friend's eWaste disposal lot again last week, and found yet another WEIRD Sony TV that I had no idea existed. A little Googling, and evidently this model was only made for a couple months, and is pretty rare (albeit WORTHLESS)... KV-35XBR48. NOT a WEGA, and NOT a 36". I knew that Sony made a few 35" curved-front CRTs, but thought they were only in cheapie (non-XBR) models. This one is a top-of-the-line XBR with all the bells & whistles including original built-in wireless headphone transponder, and in mint condition (CRT fair-ish to weak). I need it like a hole in the head, but it's rare, so should I save it?

I like the looks of this one, and think it deserves to be saved from the e-waste pile. 'Specially if it's rare.

Yep, save it! Too bad you're so far away, it sounds like something I'd like to have. I like rare stuff, even if it's worthless ;3

I haven't picked it up yet, but if it's still there when I next go down there, I might grab it. It's definitely rare, but will be worthless for a LONG time... I have trouble justifying using the space it will occupy.
