Be careful with those dangerous series string TV's!!!!!!!!
Anyone servicing those elctrocution hazards should use an islation transformer at the least.

Karma works in mysterious ways, Ron was meant to have it I guess. At least Randy's name was cleared by how he got it.

not glad to get it back!massive amount of solder to remove.i got all circuits working and the crt came up after 1 hour at 8 volts.make a bright, clear picture.just some of those rca wiring issues in the chroma section.1 smoked resistor and a peaking coil that was broken.
we went to the antique shop to investigate this matter.i found my philco tabletop there too.they dont keep records as to their purchases.when i had the shop,i had to keep precise records!anyway, this matter is closed.
the only problem i have noe is a nasty reddish blob on the left side of screen.so many things were soldered together that i may have missed something.i will post pics later.

I do feel for mustang84! Hopefully he can have a running roundie soon, one that really can be his!

I had no idea anyone would actually steal a color roundie...think of all the easier things in this world they could have stolen!
