Question Vintage TV for sale

I have a Packard Bell model #3042 (1953?) combination television, radio and phonograph. It hasbeeni n my family since it was purchased in 1953 or 54. It dosen't work but the cabinet is in fairly good shape.

I want to sell it and have no idea of it's value. Any ideas?

Bob,

In my experience, combo consoles do not sell well as there are relatively few collectors that appreciate them. Could be because they are so big. Shipping is often prohibitively more than the value of the item. There are precious few of these that will command a good price and unfortunately I don't think yours is one of them. Sometimes these sets have more sentimental than market value and you just have to find the right person who's folks had one when they were a kid sort of thing and voila you have a potential buyer. If you'd like, post a picture ad in our TV trading forum and see what happens!
