Service notes.
When you junk something save the TACT switches. There are hundreds of styles & often get noisy.With a good assortment you can usually mouse something. A few other sets that use slide rule preset varactor tuners. Toshiba has switching diodes on each slot. Change them all, they get leaky. Sanyo / Sears. More interesting ! It uses sensors, not switches. You need to remove the panel & clean both the cabinet & sensors. First one I saw had food & mung on it, a great clue ! Zeno
